| A special program was organized on 30 August 2008 at Chelsea International Academy to celebrate the declaration of Nepal as a Federal Democratic Republic. The program was jointly organized by Chelsea International Academy and Pragya Foundation. On that occasion a book by Ms. Shanta Shrestha, "Yo Katha Hoina", was launched by Rt. Honorable Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda). The program was widely attended by opinion elite, intellectuals, social workers, civil society, political leaders and diplomats. On the same occasion spouse of martyr Durgananda Jha, Mrs. Kashi Devi Jha and spouse of martyr Ganga Lal Shrestha, Mrs. Hasina Devi Shrestha, were felicitated by the Prime Minister. The formal program started with the welcome note from Ram Hari Joshi, President of Ex-MP’s Club and Chief Advisor, Pragya Foundation. Similarly the program was addressed by Shree Ram Raja Prasad Singh. Shree Shanta Das Manandhar reviewed the book whereas Ms. Shanta Shrestha highlighted about the book. The keynote speech of the program was given by the Prime Minister. Principal and Founder Director of Chelsea International Academy, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Jha presented the guests with the souvenir. The program concluded with the concluding remarks and note of thanks from Mr. Anand Aditya, Chairperson of Pragya Foundation and Chelsea International Academy. |
